Set of Three Nesting Tables, Germany c.1931

Oak-faced ply with solid oak edges, the proportions worked out rather than decorated. All three nest cleanly, which is rarer than it sounds — most surviving sets have racked. Original finish throughout, with the expected ring marks on the largest top.
